Beautiful photography book about Belarus Chernobyl Project by young Brasilian photographer Alice Miceli (now based in Berlin). I randomly stumbled upon Alice’s pictures in one of the galleries in Chelsea, New York. And they also had her powerful book which I am happy to include to my expanding collection.
Interesting artist, beautiful book. Definitely worst getting!
The book is a solitary journey from Berlin to Minsk to the exclusion zone. It is an introduction to the limits of visuality and the territories of image. An image of something that, although dramatically present, remains invisible.
