In April 2009 Kurita Keiko was an artist in residence in Iceland. Iceland, the land of volcanos, snow, unexpected colours, blue lagoon, steams, lights. The atmosphere and colours of the place beautifully depicted in this photobook. The book shows two thermal water baths in the north of the country, Mývatn and Leirhnjúkur. The pictures of the first part, depict water reflecting different colours of blue, its mystery and structure, while the second part of focuses on the land around, bizzard volcanic oddities, smells.

I love the design and paper choice of this book. It feels very light and blue.
