A must read for anybody interested in photobooks. The PBR “focusing on the best photography books being published, from the coffee-table book to the handmade artist’s edition, and on creating a better understanding of the ecosystem of the photobook as a whole”.

The second issue of the Photobook review has been edited by German publisher and bookseller Markus Schaden. The PBR #002 features publishers’ profiles, photobook as a dummy, a designer profile, photobook reviews. The PBR is a great read, but I particularly enjoyed Introduction to Photobook Studies by Markus Schaden; Photographer, Detective, Photobook-Maker (Ken Schles interviews Christian Patterson); Remi Coignet’s review of Paul Graham’s The Present.
